Easyjet and Neos team up for air links between Italy and New York – Business Traveler

Easyjet has extended its partnership with the Italian airline Neos, to offer air links from southern Italy to New York and the capital of the Dominican Republic.

Neos is already part of the Worldwide by Easyjet programwhich allows travelers to self-connect on selected routes provided by member carriers.

From June 16, Easyjet will offer connecting flights from destinations in southern Italy, via its Milan Malpensa hub and on Neos services to New York JFK and Santo Domingo La Romana airport.

Easyjet said that during an initial trial phase, passengers will be able to fly to New York JFK from Naples, Catania and Palermo, and to Santo Domingo La Romana from Naples and Catania “with one ticket and one stopover. practice at Milan Malpensa”.

The objective is then to extend the collaboration to other routes and destinations. Easyjet is the largest carrier in Milan Malpensa, with over 50 seasonal and year-round routes.

Easyjet said the partnership “will improve connectivity between southern Italian regions and key non-European markets served by Neos, providing new travel options for passengers departing from Sicily and Campania, as well as facilitating access to these regions for foreign visitors”.

The carrier added that customers “will have the option of easily retrieving their baggage at the end of their journey directly at the destination airport.”
