Mafia 4 is supposed to represent Cosa Nostra back in Italy

According to a recent podcast by XboxErafeaturing Shpeshal Nick, a well-known insider who is best known for his Microsoft-related leaks, Mafia 4 is meant to be a prequel to the original franchise release. According to information provided by Nick, the game is supposed to cover Don Salieri’s life in Sicily and his rise to power in the late 19’s and early 20’s.

It’s unclear whether Don Salieri himself would be the protagonist or not, but it already sounds interesting as we haven’t had a big budget game depicting Sicily and the birth of organized crime in its homeland!

When it comes to gameplay, Nick claimed that the game will always stay true to its linear storytelling. It remains to be seen how Hangar 13 is about to approach this slightly linear style of play.
