The White Lotus season 2: Cast, release date, location, plot info
Aubrey Plaza and Will Sharpe are Harper and Ethan, a couple who have become wealthy following the latter’s technological adventures. Money becomes a delicate issue between the couple and Ethan’s roommate Cameron (Theo James) and his wife Daphne (Meghann Fahy), who have invited Harper and Ethan to join them on their vacation. Other inevitably eclectic characters we’ll encounter include an English expat played by Tom Hollander, who “becomes obsessed” with Tanya. (Aren’t we all?) As for the locals, Lucia (Simona Tabasco) and Mia (Beatrice Grannò) serve as equivalents to the sardonic pair of besties played by Sydney Sweeney and Brittany O’Grady in the first season, while Italian actress Sabrina Impacciatore takes over the directing duties from Murray Bartlett.
On the other side of the camera, Este Haim, the bassist of the band Haim, has joined the team as a musical consultant. If his musical contributions are as delightful as his recent score for Dakota Johnson with Cha Cha real smoothexpect a few additions to the Spotify playlist.
When is The White Lotus season 2 coming out?
These lucky Americans will be able to meet Jennifer Coolidge and co. when The White Lotus returns to HBO in October. (Too bad it’ll miss the summer season but, hey, better late than never.) As for the UK, a date has yet to be announced – but since the first season on Sky Atlantic a month after it aired in the United States, we can expect the new season to follow.
Will be The White Lotus have a third season?
We know season two isn’t even here yet. But with just about everyone in the original cast nominated for Emmys, several actors have let the awards circuit slip that they’d be up for a comeback. Alexandra Daddario, who played the clickbait-writing journalist and late bride Rachel, said she spoke with creator Mike White about a potential storyline “Shane and I would be on a boat, talking about other people, annoying everyone around us,” she said. Deadline. Jake Lacy, who was nominated as a husband, added that the story would only involve the couple ‘talking for half an hour’ and it would be about ‘the mundanity of rich people on a boat’ .
Connie Britton could also return as biting businesswoman Nicole Mossbacher, as she teased that she and White had discussed bringing her in for a guest appearance on Sicily which never materialized. “Our intention is to do that in the third season,” she said, adding that she “would love to see a spinoff about every character on this show.” Count on us.
